I love this time of year! My kids being extra good because some creepy fat guy in a red suit is watching them all the time! But I also love doing all the fun little things with my kids. It starts by decorating the tree, counting down the days till Santa comes, reading all the Christmas books, Christmas programs by my kids, and my favorite making holiday goodies. When I was a kids, every year I would help my Grandma with this huge project of making Christmas Chocolates. I loved testing the treats, just to make sure that they tasted good (even though I knew they were always going to be the best, cause my Grandma made them!). As I got older, I learned how to make them myself. Now that I live 9 hours away, I am forced to make them by myself, but I get the joy of teaching my girls how to do this Christmas tradition. It is a lot of work spread over days of making these chocolates. First you start by making the fondant, which has some spacifics that you have to tend to them constantly. Then when it is cooled, you have to whip it with a wooden spoon the knead it like dough. Then let it chill overnight. Then ya wrap nuts and cherries in the fondant (I forgot to get a picture of that, oops). Then let that cool overnight again. Then ya dip them in melted chocolate. I also make homeade carmels, and ya dip them in the chocolated too. I love to give these for gifts. A true gift from the heart.

Wrestling And MORE Hair cuts!!
First item of business...
Cayge had his 2nd year of wrestling that started in October. What a guy! It is amazing to me the difference that 1 year of a sport can make. Last year he did pretty good. He would win one or two matches at each tourny. This year on the other hand, he went 25-5. He pinned 7 guys, and didn't get pinned once this season. He is such a good sport. Cayge even went undefeated at one tournament taking 1st in his weight class. He is a very emotional wrestler, if ya notice in the picture, his face is red. That is a mix of being hot from wrestling, and crying; even though he got the win. His dad and I are so proud of him. He works so hard, and has a true love for the sport. We do not want to push our kids into any sport that they don't want to do. At the first of the season, Cayge was also doing football. I asked him which one he wanted to do, and he said both. So, 6 days a week, we had Cayge in either football or wrestling (Monday: wrestling practice, Tuesday: Football game, Wednesday: Wrestling practice, Thursday: football game & wrestling practice, Friday: football practice, Saturday: Wrestling Tournament) Needless to say, life was a little crazy, plus adding the fact that Rayce had football every day of the week to boot! Back to the matter at hand that Cayge LOVES the sport of wrestling, and now that the Idaho league is over, he is ready for Washington league to start in the middle of January. (Seeing that we are 3 miles away from the Idaho/Washington border, these kids can wrestle for both states.)

The girls cut their own hair. Yes, I almost cried. Icelynn's was okay, she cut to her shoulders, just in the front; an easy fix. Shylee on the other hand AAAHHHHH!!!!!! I'm not sure what I am going to do with this girl. As you recall, I just cut her hair not to long ago, but aparently, that wasn't good enough for her, and she decided she wanted some spots around her ears, and at the crown of her head to only be about 1/2 inch long (sobs from me!). I guess all I can say is, at least we had our family pictures done during Thanksgiving break!

Crazy Week.. with a good ending
FYI This is VERY long! :) Happy reading!
I don't even know where to begin... I guess I will start with Saturday...
Last Saturday, I took Cayge to the Little Guys Idaho State Wrestling Tournament. But because I am such a nice person, I brought this one guy along with me that drives me CRAZY!!! Within the first 15 minutes, I was ready to jump out of the car as I was driving down the road. I know I sound like jerk, but lets just say it was a LONG 1 1/2!! The tournament was so poorly organized. There was well over 1,000 kids there, and only enough bleachers to seat about 450 people. Cayge got beat his very first round, then pinned his next one, then a bye, then got beat again on the fourth round. Double elimination tournament, so it was time to go. But, the guy that I took, said he wasn't ready to go. GGGRRRR! (to say the least!) Then the same repeat on the way home with this guy. I was about to cry.
I was just about back to Moscow, when Rayce calls me saying that he crushed his finger and was on the way to the hospital. I din't even know what to think. But I did have a babysitter to releive, so I went home so she could leave. But this dang guy WOULDN'T leave my house. We got home around 5:30 and he didn't leave till 7ish. I thought I was going to loose my mind! I finally said that I was going to go see Rayce at the hospital, so he needed to leave, but I actually knew he was on his way home. (Now I really sound like a jerk, but this guy is REALLY creepy, and I think he is in love with Rayce! Serously!!!)
With Rayces arrival, I finally got the details of his finger. It really wasn't as bad as it sounded, he did smash it, but not as bad as he made it sound. He shattered his nail bed, and had to have about 10 stitches, but no broken bones. (Day one down!)
Sunday: Okay day, Rayce is grumpy though, and in a lot of pain. He had to go back to the hospital in the neighboring town (Pullman, that is where he went originally)
I is there forever, and finally calls saying that our car won't start. So, I pull my girls out of the bath and hop in our van to go get him and Cayge, only to find out that it is nearly out of gas. Rayce has our only card, and the gas stations don't accept checks... I nearly started bawling on the spot, only to remember that I had an extra 10 in my wallet from the tourny the day before. I get to Pullman to pick up the boys, with no luck in trying to start the car. Now before I go much farther, let me tell you: Rayce and I have absolutely no knowledge about cars. NONE what so ever!
Monday: That evening, we have one of our friends help us tow the car to Rayce's work a few miles away. Easy task you say? Not for us... not this week. The car is parked in this tiny parking lot, and it is packed. We have to push the car up onto the car dolly, after being in the way of many other cars for about 45 minutes. Rayce and his buddy Eli get the car all straped down and we are set. We make the 3 minute drive and go to park the car, only to find out that one of the straps broke that was holding the right tire, and was barely holding on to the left tire. We nearly lost both cars. If the car had came off the dolly, I was driving my van closely behind, and it would have slammed into it, seeing that the drive was all mostly uphill.
Breath a sigh of releif, it starts getting a little better. Rayce's dad decides that he is going to take the 9 hour drive up here to help us fix our car. This is our traveling car, you see. No car, no trip home for Christmas. We convince him not to come, only because there is a huge winter storm warning in all of Northern Idaho and Montana. So in talking out the possiblities on coming home, we cross out our van, it has too many things wrong with it, and probably would never make it. We thought about renting a car, but didn't really have the money to rent a car for 17 days. So then we thought about doing a 1 way trip, and just borrowing someones car while we are there, and then doing the same thing on the way back with a rental. However, not very many rental stores allow that, so it was looking as if we weren't going to make it home for Christmas.
Friday: Icelynn has an appointment at the hospital for some bladder problems, and so the day starts off pretty bad. But by 3 o'clock, it is starting to look better. Rayce get's paid for one of his part time jobs, and to our surprise, he gets a bonus. So I say to him: Go get that deposited so it will be available next week to go Christmas shopping. Now he had another little check from his weekend job, and was trying to find it. He had looked in his wallet, and was starting to look in our files. I decide to pick up his wallet, just to check. Low and behold, I find a check from that company, only to descover it wasn't the one we were looking for. It was on dated in August for $300. (Now, to most of you that doesn't seem like very much, but we are both full time students, and we both work very little + we have 3 kids!!!!!) He had put it in his wallet, and had gotten mixed in with recipts! Long story short, we needed that extra money to make our trip home. So, in the past week, I went from feeling like I had the whole world sitting on my shoulders, thinking that everything was piling up just when it need to be set aside, but couldn't. Now I feel refreshed. But also stressed. We are renting a car, and traveling, so now the stress of packing for Christmas, cold weather, and 17 days all in a tiny compact car. HELP!!!!

I have a few posts that are a little late. This is Cayge's Birthday Party! We had a ton of fun and lots of crazies!!!
I was completely sick of Shylee having a mullett, so I took a pair of scissors to it and this is what we got!
We got to go back to Shelley for Thanksgiving. We had such a great time visiting family and all the fun with the cousins. This is of my kids and my two nephews Hayden, and Chance.

Lots of stuff to talk about
I have a few things that I would like to get off my chest.
First of all, I can't WAIT to see Twilight!! I get all warm and fuzzy inside just thinking about it. I have been trying to tell Rayce all about the books, but he doesn't seem to care. He asks the questions, and then when I tell him, he realizes that he really doesn't care, zones out as I go on a HUGE spill about it, and how much I am in love with a vampire. So he has pushed me off to go see it with family when we get down to Idaho Falls on Sunday. I am excited to spend both time with the fam, and get to see my beloved Edward.
Secondly, is I am SSSOOO sick of people pushing me to do things that I really don't want to do. I guess that people think that because I was raised LDS, and at one point was active, that I am still just as motivated to go to church, but lack something, so they remind me. So here it goes: PEOPLE!!!! If I really wanted to go to church, I would be there. This is nothing against any of you that go, to whatever church you want. It just means that I don't. And I am sick of getting asked about it all the time. I am a big girl, and I can make my own decisions. And when I am ready, I will go, and enjoy. But as of now, I don't. I swear, if I get asked one more time I'm going to SCREAM!!!! (I have been asked a ton of times in the last 2 months by at least 6 different people. There must have been an announcement in Relief Society or something) And now we have the missionaries knocking on our door to. GOOD GRIEF!!! But like I said, I am not looking down on anyone that goes to church, and I would hope that you do the same for me. Believe me, when I am ready, we will come.
The third thing, (yes, I am venting!) I am so sick of cleaning!!!! I swear, I should be paid for all my services! It's not enough that I am a full time student, work and extracurricular activities, but I have to wipe butts while I'm at it (only figuratively speaking, my kids are all potty trained [one thing I have going for me!]) I just want one day where I can walk in the door and say "Rayce, you put all the clothes away, and the dishes are done. You are the best!" Now, don't get me wrong, Rayce is a big help, but we have relatively the same work load, and yet here I am slaving! But oh, well, life goes on, and I will get through it.
So lastly, I would like to end on this point, I LOVE MY FAMILY!!! And if it wasn't for the love and support that they show me, I could never get through a single day. My kids make me smile even when I feel like bawling, and my husband shows me love when we should be screaming at each other.
So now that I have vented, I feel MUCH better.

Cayge's Barn Dance
Cayge's school puts on a barn dance for the parents every year. My video camera wasn't working, so this is the best my regular camera could do.
Pumpkins!
I have always LOVED carving pumpkins, but we have never done it as a family before. I think the last time I carved a pumpkin, I was probably like 12 years old or LESS! So I figured it was high time that we got in gear and did it. So we went and picked out pumpkins and Walmart. (yes I have seen all your pumpkin patch blogs, but let me remind you where I live... MOSCOW, IDAHO, where there is no such thing unless I want to drive like 2 hours away, and it's just not worth it!) I decided I wanted to be all creative and googled some really cool patterns. Icelynn's is Spongebob, Cayge's is Commander Rex from Star Wars, and Shylee's is a self portrait done by Rayce. I was so excited to get this underway, so as soon as Rayce got home, we dove right in. Little did I know that my kids would HATE it. The girls were braver than Cayge, he was gagging, with watery eyes and all. They barely helped, so really it was just Rayce and I that carved pumpkins. But we had fun all the same.

Okay, so this is how this works. You randomly take pictures of you, your house, and one favorite thing. Now, you can't clean before you take these pictures (if I couldn't than you can't either!)

This is my bed. I LOVE my new bedset! (Rayce got it for me for my birthday) It reminds me of the Twilight book covers! (I love you Edward!)
This is my VERY unorganized closet! It is really deep on the sides. So stuff just gets piled back there, and as you can see, it is now overflowing!
This is what my kids are doing. Playing games on the XBox. Cayge is teaching Icelynn how to be a gamer.
This is two pictures in one. This is what Shylee is also doing, playing with the words on the fridge. Also, this is my fridge. I love the outside of my fridge (my inside is always crazy and stuffed to the brim!) Random things everywhere, and yet organized.
My dad gave me this table for my birthday last year. Before that we had NO table. And yes, lunch is still on the table. Macaroni and Cheese, very popular in my house!
I HATE my laundry room. As you can see, it is a laundry room/bathroom. It is the first door you see when you walk into my house, and with 3 kids, it is always being used for both functions. If I could change this one room, I would!

And last but not least, my favorite shoes. These are the most uncomfortable shoes ever, but they are SO cute, and go with so many things. I have had them for like 5 years, and I am never going to get rid of them!

Girl's 1st Day of PreSchool
This post is a little late, but hey, better late than never, right?! My girls started school on September 16th, and I thought that I was going to bawl my eyes out. I never thought the day would come that all three of my kids would be in school. Even my little Shy. They go to the Lewis Clark Early Childhood Learning Program (aka Head Start). They love it, and they LOVE their teacher Miss Debbie. They are doing great, and Shylee is finally starting to speak up there! She is so soft spoken. I am glad they are happy in love it. Shylee every morning has to be woke up with a "Shy, do you want to go see Miss. Debbie today? Alright, get out of bed then!" She is not a morning person, but is working her way through it to see Miss Debbie. Thanks so much to her!
Cayge's Flag Football
This is my little "big guy"! I can't believe that he is old enough to play school sports! And on top of that he is playing two! This obviously is flag football (we haven't started wrestling tournys yet). He love's it and he's pretty good too. Who'd of guessed with a dad like his! They are the Polar Bears, and they have a 2-1 record. Cayge scored a 50 yard touchdown in the very first game and has made quite a few tackles (or flag grabs)! Way to go sport!

TWILIGHT!!!!
So I am a little (okay, ALOT) obsessed with Twilight, and the other 3 books. I have read them all 3 times now, and can't seem to stop. I can't wait for the movie to come out next month. Unfortunately, I will be going by myself because I have no friends, and I haven't convinced Rayce to go with me. But that is okay, as long as I get to see it, it doesn't matter who I with (or not with for that matter!) As most of you know, there is a new movie trailor out, if you haven't seen it yet, here's a link.

Crazy Busy!
I just wanted to give an update on me. So I had my 26th birthday on Saturday, and it was great. Rayce and the kids took me shopping to pick myself something out, even though I didn't. I wanted a new bed set soooo bad, but I just didn't feel like spending $200 dollars on the one that I liked. I just thought that was a bit ridiculous! So we went home and had dinner (which I didn't have to cook, Rayce stopped and got Wendy's YAY! [can you hear the sarcasm?]) Then we had birthday cake, and the kids were really confused on why I had no presents to open. I told them that they could draw me pictures and that would be my present. They didn't like my answer. So later that night we went out to hang with friends. We had a lot of fun, and the best part of all, is I didn't have to do anything all day. I sat and read my book, New Moon, and just did whatever.
But my week this week will be crazy! I have 2 major exams, and I have been studying none stop! But so far so good, I have A's in all my classes. I am really happy about that. I have been working my toosh off to get those grades! One of these days when I get a few more minutes, I will post some pics of the kids.

I LOVE my kids!!!
I feel so blessed to have the best kids in the world.
Cayge is so funny. And what a good brother! He is all about his sisters, and he plays very well with them. He is now in 1st grade, and how time has flown. He is very shy, but loves the attention from girls! He has such a great imagination, and also is such a gamer! Man I love this kids.
Icee is such a beautiful little girl. She looks just like her Aunt Brianna! She is really into Polly Pockets and loves daycare. Why, I'm not sure, I think it's a social thing. She is starting to tease and it drives me crazy, but she thinks it's pretty funny. She LOVES babies, and bugs me all the time to have another one. She is really starting to draw really good! I am so glad all my kids can, and like to draw!
Shylee is such a goofball!!!! I don't think I can say that enough! She is very loving and caring. She is very independant! Wants to do everything herself! She is really into "Little People" the toys and Go Any Where girls. She is slowly getting out of the Dora stage! (YES! I'm so excited about that!) She also is a teaser, and thinks that whining gets her whatever she wants, so she does it all the time.
I would do anything for my kids. They are my life and my heart. I couldn't imagine life with out them!

Family Reunion
This summer we were lucky enough to go to my Grandma's family reunion in Bone, Idaho. We had such a great time. Visiting with family, it was so much fun. (My sister Danyelle and her little family also came, even though she is not on this side of the family. I was so greatful to be able to spend time with my sisters and their babies!)

This is my nephew Hayden. He is probably the funniest kid that I know. He says and does the most craziest things that I have ever seen. We miss this little guy and his brother, Chance!
