To all you creative people out there, Icelynn & Cayge are having a Birthday/Halloween party on the 31st. I need some ideas on what do do with a bunch of 8 year olds and 6 year olds. PLEASE! I am dying here (he he, halloween joke!)
I just did a Circus party for Stock, and I set up different stations with little games that each kid can go to and then they would get a small prize at each station (like Halloween pencils or erasers, stuff like that) You could do Halloween games, I did pumpkin bowling (where I set up the pins and used small pumpkins for the ball) and you could to the fishing game. You could also make cup cakes and have each kid decorate them like spiders. You could print out ghost pictures and have the little kids glue cotton balls the ghost pictures. You could buy small pumpkins and have the kids draw silly faces on them. Ok I think that's about all I got, ha ha ha, hope any of that helps :)
I have had Halloween parties for kids in the past years and three games that I found kids to really enjoy and to be cheap were these....
Making Masks •Paper Plates •Hole Punch •Scissors •Glitter Glue •Gel Pens •Markers •Glue •Misc. Fabric •Feathers •Etc….. Use These random items to make masks…
Mummy Wrap Relay •Toilet Paper
Divide the players into groups. Each group needs a player that is the “mummy” and the other players are the “wrappers”. Give each group with a roll of toilet paper. The object of the game is to be the first group to wrap a mummy using the entire roll of tp. Most kids love to be the “mummy” so you could do the best of 5 or something like that….
Spider Web •Large Ball of Black Yarn
The kids stand in a circle. The ball of yarn is thrown across to another child. The child holds on to a piece of the yarn and then throws the ball across to another child. Continue until a spider web is created.
These are a few simple games but kids seem to enjoy them. Good Luck and I am sure your party will be a blast! Tina
