So, as I gander over my last about 5 blog posts, I notice that there has been no mention of my three kids. I promise they are still alive! (Some of my family thinks that I have killed Rayce because they never see him, but I talk about him all the time, like it is a cover up, he he) Life has handed us a full load right now. Rayce and I are both full time students, and he works two jobs. Cayge and Icee are at school from 8 to 4 (cus they ride the bus) and Shylee is at school from 8:30 till noon. And because I haven't been feeling that great, I feel like I have put them on the back burner. But they are the most wonderful children anyone could ever ask for.
Cayge is doing wonderful in 2nd grade. I get to work in his classroom every Thursday, and it is such a treat to watch him in his learning environment. He is so diligent, and wants to be the best. He LOVES to study about marine life, and of course, football.
Icee is doing good in Kindergarten. Her teacher wanted to move her up to 1st grade at the semester, but we chose to have her stay put. She is such a social butterfly, but doesn't talk much in class. I spend Friday's in her class, and she loves the attention that she gets from her friends when she is there.
Shylee, wow, it is amazing how big of a turd she is! She puts on this sweet innocent face, but behind her back, one knows she is up to no good! But she looks up to her sister SO much. She wants to be just like her "Hicelynn" in every way. She is almost done with her 2nd year of preschool, and is really excited to start Kindergarten.
They are all growing up so fast, and are thrilled for the new baby to come. Cayge randomly will come up to me and whisper "I love you baby" to my belly. Brings me to tears. The girls fight about who the baby is going to sleep with, and Icee is bound determined that this little one will be born on her birthday (my due date is two days before!).
I love my children and feel so blessed to have them in my life. They keep me on my toes, and couldn't imagine it any other way.
