Last night we decieded to go out to dinner and play games as a family. We didn't really have any games for all three kids, so we went to Walmart to get a few games. We ended up picking out a Mickey Mouse Matching game, Don't Break the Ice, and Disney Pictionary DVD. The kids had a blast with the first two games. Shylee wasn't to thrilled about the Pictionary game, but I think that was more because it was like an hour and a half past her bed time. To my slight surprise, they actually liked drawing them selves verses guessing from the DVD part of the game. I guess I liked it more because I am such a terrible artist. But the kids loved to draw the characters, and also watching their Dad draw. We had a really good night, plus the kids LOVE when we do stuff as a family. With our crazy schedules, we don't get very many nights like last night.
Icelynn guessing what Cayge was drawing. I know you can't really see it, he drew Mater from Cars
Cayge and Icelynn watching their Dad draw.
WARNING:
If any of the readers are squeemish towards slobbery mouths, the rest of this post is not for you. Poor Caygee at almost 8 still hadn't lost any teeth yet. The last time we had been to the dentist, he told us to watch for bumps behind his baby teeth, that if it happened, it would be his permanent ones trying to come in. On Monday, Cayge came home from school showing me his "bump" behind his teeth. I got right on the phone and called the dentists office to get him in for an appointment. The earliest they could get him in was Thursday. By Thursday morning the tooth was beginning to break through his gums. The dentist told us that his tooth was to big to fit in the little space from the baby one. After xrays, the dentist said the one next to it was soon to come in also. I asked if I needed to watch for another bump, he answered no that he was going to pull both of them, and just to be safe so they wouldn't come in sideways. But on top of that, they were going to pull the other outside ones also. So, poor Cayge thinking he was going to loose his first tooth, had to loose his first FOUR!!!! He was pretty excited about all of it until it started happen. He was pretty numb, but the teeth weren't ready to come out. There was a lot of hard pulling going on. It took him about 4 hours to snap out of the sad thought of his teeth being gone, and the fact that the tooth fairy was bringing money for all 4 of them.

Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun!! And oh my the hole sin his mouth are pretty funny, and I totally thought that was blood, not chocolate pudding!! haha!! Yay for Cayge!!
Looks like you had a fun game night and wow! Rayce can draw really good! Cayge's experience reminds me of Jace. The dentist pulled a his top 4 front teeth as I recall in third grade. And the other ones weren't close to breaking through. His mouth was a baldy for a long time! He looked totally different!
I had to delete the last one because I spelled cayge's name wrong :(
Anyway, here's what I wrote:
"Cayge, it works better if you bite the spaghetti..."
Scowled face, "I can't."
"Oh yeah! Sorry!"
HAHAHAHA...that still makes me laugh!!!
His Teeth holes look horrible!!! Ouch! It's great to finally have a chance to catch up on all the blogs. We miss you guys. Love ya!
